Responsibilities
Ensures reliability of machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance on machinery and systems. Performs tasks including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of equipment. Reads and interprets equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Uses hand tools and measuring instruments to determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts.
- Assembles, installs, adjusts, and calibrates mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment.
- Dismantles, repairs, rebuilds, and replaces equipment and parts as needed.
- Adheres to all plant safety policies.
- Participates in plant-wide safety, housekeeping, Operational Excellence, and Lean Manufacturing programs.
- Provides assistance and guidance to junior maintenance colleagues.
- Executes preventive maintenance to machines and electrical cabinets.
- Manages work orders on eMaint platform to report all executed tasks on the machines.
- Troubleshoots electrical faults on machines and electrical devices.
- Performs root cause analysis for major breakdowns on machines.
- Replaces and configures servo drives, VFD’s and HMI’s.
- Replaces and troubleshoots 480 VAC motors, 120 Vac motors, and servo motors.
Requirements
- Electrician Journeyman License or Industrial Electrician License preferred.
- High school diploma, college degree, or technical training in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of recent experience in an industrial/manufacturing maintenance position.
Skills
- Demonstrates ability to select and operate appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Possesses operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Demonstrates ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and work orders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication skills.
- Familiarity with PNP and NPN sensors, analogical and digital control signals, and PLC troubleshooting/programming software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 Electrical codes, electrical prints interpretation, and maintenance concepts.
- Ability to work effectively under limited supervision and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
The pay for this position is $41.33 per hour, with potential eligibility for a short-term incentive.
