Sr LIS Technician
This role is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function, focusing on technical maintenance services in critical client environments.
Responsibilities
- Calibrate, maintain, and perform major repairs on scientific instrumentation.
- Disassemble, examine, clean, repair, calibrate, and service specialized equipment, systems, and controls.
- Operate test equipment, including multimeters, frequency generators, counters, galvanometers, digital logic probes, and oscilloscopes.
- Coordinate removal of equipment requiring extensive repairs during scheduled maintenance periods.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems during unscheduled work.
- Record and report abnormal functions or out-of-tolerance conditions; initiate corrective action and documentation as needed.
- Review and document daily records of inspections, maintenance activity, repairs, and other work performed.
- Coordinate with external contractors on repairs covered by maintenance agreements.
- Communicate with customer staff and outside contractors regarding calibration, repair, and operation of equipment.
- Locate part sources, estimate costs, and prepare requisitions.
- Track instrument and part reliability; recommend alternate service, supplier, and parts options.
- Oversee development of equipment, maintenance, and calibration procedures.
- Apply knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience.
- Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.

- Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and verify understanding.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Must have appropriate license or certification where required by law.
- Meet physical requirements, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
- Experience analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
- Ability to perform complex calculations, including percentages, fractions, and financial-related computations.

Pay
The compensation range for this role is approximately $102,000 to $127,000 annual base salary, based on experience. The final compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
