About the role
As a CBRE LIS Sr. Coordinator, you will provide support services to facilitate the repair, maintenance, calibration, and certification of laboratory instrumentation. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. You are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of coordination with laboratory vendors for corrective and preventive maintenance activities
- Vendor escorting to and from laboratory areas
- Review of vendor calibration certificates and test reports in accordance with local good documentation practices
- Work with staff to determine services required for installation, maintenance, moves, and relocations
- Act as the first point of contact for all third-party contractors, ensuring they have a valid EHS and GMP induction, a thorough risk assessment, and an official method statement and permit before work begins
- Submit CMMS data updates, additions, and decommissions
- Ensure purchase orders are in place before the start of non-contract work
- Absorb and review documentation for inspections and audits
- Follow standardized procedures and practices and receive regular but moderate supervision and guidance
- Verify that invoices are processed for payment to a third party for vendor maintenance support
- Evaluate and select solutions from established options to recognize and solve typical and atypical problems in own work area without supervisory approval
- Achieve the quality of the services or information provided to the team
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED with 2-3 years of job-related experience
- An established understanding of work routines and standards and applying skills and knowledge in a range of processes, procedures, and systems
- Intermediate problem-solving skills with the capacity to review and select solutions from available options without supervisory approval
- Ability to explain detailed and complicated information within the team in a clear and concise manner
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Strong organizational skills with a robust inquisitive mindset
- General math skills, including the ability to calculate advanced figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups
