Responsibilities
- Serve as a key partner to various internal stakeholders in human resources, IT, and security
- Lead employment, privacy, and security legal matters within the organization
- Translate complex regulations into practical, actionable advice for compliance
- Develop foundational processes in a fast-paced legal environment
- Support the company’s mission by ensuring legal compliance in operations
Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant legal experience as a practicing attorney
- 5+ years of employment law experience in either a law firm or in-house setting
- 5+ years of healthcare privacy and security law experience, including HIPAA compliance
- Strong writing, analytic, and interpersonal skills to provide practical guidance
- Experience with state AI laws related to employment and privacy issues
