Responsibilities

  • Visionary and Strategist: Build and align a cross-functional team to understand customer pain points, foster empathy, and drive product revenue. Articulate product strategy and vision across the enterprise for multiple products.
  • Customer Passion and Advocacy: Bring the customer viewpoint into product design by actively listening to feedback, leveraging insights, and building products that delight and inspire.
  • Creative Problem Solver: Collaborate with marketing, research, analytics, design, and development teams to develop real-world solutions using technical savvy and market insights. Drive value-added solutions informed by industry trends.
  • Commitment to Risk Management: Oversee the integration of strong risk and security controls, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Technical Understanding: Work directly with technologists to deliver market solutions. Define requirements, groom user stories, motivate technical teams, and partner closely with technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically, 9+ years of progressive related work experience OR a post-secondary degree with at least 4 years of related work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in design thinking and agile development processes.
  • Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration experience.
  • Passion for building and delivering great products.
  • Experience setting product strategy, roadmaps, and meeting revenue targets.
  • Excellent listening and execution skills.
  • Background and drug screen.

Additional Requirements (For Developer Portal & Tools)

  • Documentation Quality & Governance: Own clarity, consistency, and compliance across all developer-facing content by defining editorial standards, coordinating cross-functional reviews, and maintaining a unified documentation strategy.
  • Developer Experience & Platform Ownership: Lead the evolution of the documentation platform, manage vendor relationships, and incorporate developer-focused features while staying current with API/SDK ecosystem trends.
  • Developer Tools & Productivity Enablement: Integrate modern tooling into the docs portal, collaborate with engineering and DevRel to streamline the developer journey, and define metrics to improve onboarding, adoption, and satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree.
  • Certifications in design thinking and/or agile.
  • Prior experience in payments, financial services, or a similar regulated industry.
  • People management experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Work is primarily sedentary in a collaborative office environment, requiring extensive computer use and sitting for extended periods.
  • Occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching may be required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
  • Requires visual acuity and dexterity to operate office equipment, including computers.
  • Must be able to communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay

Base pay scale for this position:

  • Phoenix, AZ / Chicago, IL / Washington, DC: $150,000 - $200,000 USD per year.
  • New York, NY / San Francisco, CA: $180,000 - $240,000 USD per year.

Candidates are also eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits. Pay is subject to change and depends on factors such as job scope, market rates, geographic location, education, experience, training, and specialized skills.
