Sr. JFN Network Specialist (TS/SCI)

Responsibilities

• Cook up with customers and DISA/Joint Fires Network teams to activate new network services in line with DISA/JFN standards.
• Perform Initial Test and Acceptance (IT&A) activities and produce necessary reports and documents.
• Implement network device configurations utilizing predefined configuration templates (configlets).
• Manage service orders and guarantee that changes adhere to established change management procedures.
• Validate customer requirements through DISN tools and databases.
• Collaborate with commercial vendors to orchestrate end-to-end connectivity solutions.
• Monitor network modifications to ensure no negative impact on customer traffic.
• Resolve network issues in conjunction with engineers, architects, and project managers.
• Engage stakeholders to comprehend requirements, acquire approvals, and keep service requests moving forward.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret with SCI eligibility security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in network engineering or telecommunications support.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
• Experience configuring, testing, and activating network systems and devices.
• Working knowledge of networking technologies including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, WAN, and VRFs.
• Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and other network appliances.
• Understanding of data and voice network design using military and commercial protocols.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the capability to work both independently and on a team.

Pay

Pay range: $80,000 - $110,000 (Based on years of relevant experience)
