Sr IT Project Manager / Infrastructure / Azure DevOps

About the role

This role supports an Azure-focused infrastructure team responsible for enabling software delivery across a growing portfolio of transportation modernization projects. The environment includes Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, and enterprise-scale infrastructure supporting modern application platforms.

Responsibilities

• Help establish a newly embedded infrastructure function aligned directly with software delivery teams.
• Oversee infrastructure initiatives tied to application development.
• Improve coordination between operations and engineering.
• Bring structure to how infrastructure work is planned and tracked.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT Project or Program Management experience
• Strong experience managing Azure infrastructure or cloud-based projects
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (tracking, user stories, ticketing)
• Experience working in Agile environments supporting software delivery
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies

• Experience working in large enterprise or consulting environments
• Background supporting infrastructure teams tied to application development
• Experience improving process, tracking, and team alignment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in transportation, government, or large-scale modernization efforts
