Requirements

- Detail-Oriented: In-depth knowledge of building codes, interior materials, finishes, specifications, and construction techniques, and ability to coordinate with architectural teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design (or related field) and a minimum of 6 years experience in all phases of design.
- Design Software: Proficiency in design software like Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, Enscape, and Bluebeam.
- Technical Skills: Versed in the development of construction docs and specs, with a high-level knowledge of building codes (ADA, IBC, etc.), and experience with consultant coordination.
- Communication Skills: Stellar communication skills, leading coordination and collaboration with consultants, contractors, and vendors. Keep projects organized.
What You'll Do
- Lead Design Vision: Develop and refine design concepts and presentations that align with client goals and Vida's standards. Guide the creative process and ensure every detail is fully coordinated with other consultants.
- Project Knowledge: Lead large-scale projects from start to finish, showing your skills at every phase of the process.
- Provide Management Support: Assist the Design Manager with project scheduling, budget management, and team coordination to keep things running smoothly.
- Collaborate with the Team: Work hand-in-hand with other Designers and Design Managers to bring ideas to life—from concept to construction. Ensure quality control across all project phases, including Construction Documentation and Administration.
- Client Interaction: Play an active role in meetings, presenting ideas, taking notes, and ensuring clients feel heard and excited about the process.
- Mentor Designers: Share your knowledge with the next generation of designers, providing hands-on guidance in both design and project execution.

Pay and Benefits
Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 / year
Compensation within the salary range will be determined by various factors, such as relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and the needs of the business or organization.
Work Environment: This position must be located in Texas but is 100% remote with occasional travel to our Portland, OR office.
