Sr Information Technology Business Analyst

About the role

The Senior IT Operations Analyst will act as a key liaison between the R&pD-IT team and Finance, Accounting, and Accounts Payable teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable service delivery, operational stability, and compliance with enterprise policies and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a key liaison between the R&pD-IT team and Finance, Accounting, and Accounts Payable teams.
• Support the quarterly and annual budget planning cycles.
• Support managers in the approval of invoices to purchase orders.
• Communicate detailed financial data up to Vice President level.
• Support a team of 25+ contributors in addition to Finance, Accounting, and Accounts Payable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 5 years of experience in Financial operations
• Experience managing a budget of $50 million with dozens of vendors and 100+ purchase orders

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting practices and the budgeting process
• Detail-oriented with focus on financial compliance
• Ability to plan and track at the purchase order line item level building forecasts and tracking actuals as well as creating accruals so the goal of +/- 5% variance is achieved

Pay

$83,800.00 - $136,800.00 annually
