Sr. Industrial Engineer Technician

Responsibilities

• Aid in designing, testing, and implementing process improvements to enhance production efficiency.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify trends and recommend operational improvements.
• Support the development and implementation of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma techniques, and other efficiency-driven initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct time and motion studies to determine optimal workforce utilization.
• Affirm cost estimation, budgeting, and material requirements planning (MRP).
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Provide technical support for automation and process control systems.
• Support quality control initiatives by identifying defects, root causes, and corrective actions.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering support roles preferred.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, or similar).
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization methodologies.
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal Company.

Skills

Benefits

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Sr. Industrial Engineer Technician: $90,000 - $110,000 Pay commensurate with experience. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
