About the role
The Sr. Industrial Control System (ICS) Consultant is responsible for providing technical expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of industrial control systems within data centers during construction phases.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and support for the integration of industrial control systems into new data center infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and IT departments to ensure seamless system integration.
- Conduct site visits and provide recommendations for system improvements based on current industry standards and best practices.
- Document project progress and maintain detailed records of all system configurations and settings.
- Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues related to industrial control systems during construction and operation phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial control systems, preferably in data center construction projects.
- Proficiency in SCADA systems, PLCs, and automation technologies.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience with industrial control systems in data center environments.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC 61158, IEC 61131, and ISO 13655.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages like ladder logic, SCL, and HMI development tools.
- Understanding of network security protocols and best practices.
Skills
- Proficient in using SCADA software such as Wonderware, GE Fanuc, or Rockwell Automation.
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols like Modbus, Profibus, and EtherNet/IP.
- Experience with data center infrastructure and operations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Pay
- $80,000 - $100,000 annually.
Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
