About the role
The Senior, Income Tax Analyst is a key contributor to the Tax Department's federal, state, and international compliance function, helping ensure the company's tax filings, provision support, and workpaper documentation are accurate, timely, and audit-ready. This individual contributor brings technical tax expertise together with strong analytical and automation skills to strengthen compliance, reduce risk, and drive efficiency across the department. This position is based out of our North Dallas office in Dallas, TX and is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Prepare/review federal, state, and international income tax workpapers.
- Assist with annual income tax provision.
- Prepare estimated payments and extension calculations across jurisdictions.
- Reconcile source data from the GL and ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite) to support returns and provision.
- Maintain compliance calendars and audit-ready documentation to support internal controls.
- Track, research, and resolve jurisdictional income tax notices.
- Assist with federal and state tax audits.
- Perform tax research as needed.
- Analytics & process improvement using AI-assisted tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 3+ years of tax compliance experience is required.
- Hands-on experience with OneSource Income Tax and Provision (or other similar tax engine) and ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite) for tax reporting and reconciliation a plus.
- Demonstrated experience preparing federal and state returns, supporting audit defense, and resolving day-to-day tax issues.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
