St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking a SR HVAC employee to join our award-winning team! The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM.

Role Purpose

  • Install, maintain, and repair various facility HVAC, refrigeration, and specialty systems such as medical gas and fire protection systems including distribution piping and electro-mechanical equipment and devices.
  • Handles and disposes of hazardous and/or infectious waste properly and practices infection control.
  • Adheres to regulatory guidelines.
  • Repairs and maintains all aspects of the facility's heating, ventilation and air conditioning, medical gas, fluid equipment distribution and fire protection systems.
  • Performs routine preventative and predictive maintenance on assigned systems and equipment including calibration, alignment, and balancing.
  • Ensures all completed assignments meet all applicable code requirements.
  • Operates building automation system and makes modifications and additions to the system as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Associate or Trade School
  • Experience: 2-5 years
  • Licenses & Certifications: Universal EPA
