Sr. Human Resources Business Partner
About the role
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) will act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior business leaders, providing expert HR guidance aligned to organizational and functional objectives. This role will specifically support Supply Chain and Sourcing functions, partnering closely with leaders across global operations to drive workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, and talent outcomes.
Essential Functions
- Strategic Partnership - Partner with Supply Chain and Sourcing leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business priorities, including cost optimization, operational efficiency, and supplier performance. Provide proactive workforce insights to support evolving business needs across planning, logistics, sourcing, and procurement operations.
- Talent Management - Lead workforce planning efforts in partnership with business leaders, including forecasting talent needs across supply chain functions (e.g., demand planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management). Support development of talent pipelines for critical roles such as Buyers, Supply Chain Managers, Sourcing Specialists, and Supply Chain and Sourcing Leaders.
- Employee Relations - Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters within operational and commercial environments. Partner with leaders to enhance engagement and retention across geographically dispersed and cross-functional teams.
- Performance Management - Lead performance management, talent reviews, and calibration processes for client groups, ensuring alignment with supply chain KPIs, operational goals, and productivity targets. Coach leaders on driving accountability and high-performance standards within operational teams.
- Organizational Effectiveness & Change Management - Support organizational design and restructuring initiatives tied to supply chain transformation, sourcing strategy shifts, and operational scaling.
- Compliance - Ensure HR practices comply with global labor laws and corporate policies, particularly within procurement and operational environments. Support risk mitigation strategies related to workforce compliance, contingent labor, and vendor-related workforce considerations.
- Business Acumen & Operational Insight - Develop a deep understanding of supply chain operations, including procurement, vendor management, logistics, and inventory planning, to inform HR strategies. Translate business challenges (e.g., cost pressures, supply constraints, supplier risk) into actionable HR solutions.

- Focus on HR performance management processes to enhance an employees performance.
- Provide consulting and coaching to departmental leaders to support the business's vision, mission, and objectives.
- Design strategies to create a work environment where employees can thrive and pursue growth opportunities.
Essential/Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a strategic HRBP role.
Work Conditions
Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
