About the role

Bruker is seeking a seasoned Sr. Human Resources Business Partner to co-lead the people strategy and execution across the region, covering the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. The role supports a diverse workforce of more than 1,200 employees and operates within a complex, matrixed global organization, alongside other business group HR professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute HR strategies and key initiatives across the Americas region, aligned with global priorities and local requirements
  • Align workforce capabilities with business strategy to build a future-ready organization
  • Provide insights and recommendations on organizational design, talent management, retention, and leadership development
  • Collaborate across HR functions (HRBPs, HR Service Delivery, Total Rewards, HRIT, Talent Acquisition, Talent and Organizational Development) to ensure seamless delivery of HR solutions
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders on talent, organization design, workforce planning, M&A integration, and transformation initiatives
  • Support managers in implementing performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and development plans
  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives to adapt to evolving business environments
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by promoting agile HR practices
  • Proactively consult the business using data-driven insights on HR trends, challenges, and opportunities
  • Identify, implement, and share HR best practices, particularly in locations with limited local HR presence
  • Ensure compliance with global HR policies and local labor legislation
  • Support additional strategic initiatives as business needs evolve

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field required
  • Master’s degree and/or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI, WorldatWork) preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including regional responsibility
  • Experience within a highly matrixed, global, publicly traded organization; Life Sciences, Healthcare, Medical Devices, or advanced manufacturing strongly preferred
  • Collaboration with leaders and teams on a global basis, especially in the EMEA region, is highly preferred
  • Able to collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources, to provide insights and recommendations
  • Strong business acumen, grasping the key drivers, processes, and financial aspects of the business and external industry landscape, to align HR initiatives with business objectives
  • Successful in planning, implementing, and evaluating change initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and minimize resistance and disruption
  • Knowledge of local labor law within the region
  • Strong leadership presence with exceptional communication and influencing skills
  • Advanced business acumen, including strategic thinking, organizational transformation, financial literacy, and analytical problem-solving
  • Comfortable leading through ambiguity, change, and organizational complexity
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a strong bias toward execution and results
  • Fluency in English required; German and/or Spanish is preferred
