Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure accurate employee data management, compliance, and efficient HR operations.
- Serve as system security administrator to administer user access and system permissions, ensuring appropriate role-based security and safeguarding confidential employee information.
- Oversee system integrations and monitor the Integration Dashboard to ensure optimal performance including file feeds and system updates.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide ongoing user support and training.
- Partner with HR, IT, and vendors to enhance system functionality and streamline workflows.
- Support HRIS implementations, upgrades, testing, and system enhancements.
Employee Data & Lifecycle Management
- Process employee lifecycle transactions including hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, and bonuses.
- Troubleshoot onboarding and data flow issues between systems (e.g., recruitment, benefits and HRIS platform).
- Maintain accurate organizational and employee records across systems.
Reporting & Analytics
- Generate and analyze standard and ad hoc HR reports to support business needs and decision-making.
- Produce recurring reports (e.g., monthly corporate and retail reports), ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Document report generation processes, including parameters, logic, and supporting visuals for reference.
- Distribute required reports to internal stakeholders and external systems as needed.
Compliance & Audits
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, including EEOC, California Pay Data Reporting, etc.
- Absorb assistance with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and validating data accuracy.
Benefits & Payroll
- Support process benefits-related tasks including Guardian invoice management and HSA employer funding (e.g., WEX).
- Absorb annual processes such as merit increases and holiday bonus administration.
- Absorb benefits reporting and reconciliation activities.
Process Improvement & Documentation
- Develop, maintain, and document HRIS procedures, policies, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency across HR systems and workflows.
- Absorb multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, UKG).
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
- Experience with HR reporting tools and data analysis.
- Knowledge of HR compliance requirements, including EEOC reporting.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
Pay
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $85,000-$90,000. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
