Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior HRIS Analyst with a strong background in Workday, specifically the Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules, to join our People Technology HRIS team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives with the HRIS landscape, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality.
- Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
- Manage project migration, unit/system testing, documents change control and user sign off, ensure changes meet SOX compliance.
- Document requirements for system modifications and improvements and manage progress through UAT to implementation.
- Perform system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of Workday releases.
- Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related system issues. Coordinate application of upgrade or fix.
- Maintain HRIS/Payroll system tables, configurations, earnings, deductions, tax set-ups and costing allocations in Workday.
- Documents process and results.
- Serve as a technical point of contact and act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Payroll, Absence Management, and Time Tracking. Ensure optimal configuration, support and maintenance.
- Ensure regulatory compliance (SOX, Tax).
- Support and enhance integrations between Workday and third-party payroll vendors.
- Generate reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
- Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
- Provide end-user support and conduct training, including developing user procedures (SOP), guidelines and documentation on existing, and new functionality or system changes.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5 years of Workday Analyst experience with at least 3 years of focused experience in the Workday Payroll module.
- A strong emphasis and technical understanding of Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules preferably in a mid to large-sized organization in the health care space.
- In-depth understanding of payroll processing, taxation, retro pay, and payroll compliance.
- Strong knowledge of US Payroll laws and tax regulations.
- Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
- Working knowledge of Workday integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio) preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience using issue and project tracking tools (ex. JIRA, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical support skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation
$110,000 - $120,000/annually in addition to a competitive bonus plan
