Pay range per hour is $20.82 - $37.45. Additional compensation may include a shift differential of $2.00 to $3.50 per hour based on eligibility. Pay is determined by factors such as labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

About the Role
As a Senior Human Resource Specialist, you enable the HR operating model by delivering consistent execution of HR processes, routines, and tools. You serve as a key partner and resource, ensuring HR programs are accurate, efficient, and focused on the team member experience.
Your responsibilities include:
- Supporting onboarding, workforce routines, and training completion with accurate recordkeeping.
- Providing day-to-day HR services and guidance to help leaders and team members navigate HR processes and organizational change.
- Applying best practices and standard procedures to support staffing, retention, engagement, and compliance.
- Interacting regularly with site leadership, HR partners, and cross-functional teams, and engaging with external candidates or vendors for staffing and onboarding.
- Approaching work with a solutions-oriented mindset, delivering HR services with accuracy, consistency, and care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of administrative experience.
- Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and computer systems (e.g., Excel, Word, O365).
- Strong customer/client service skills with the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) across all organizational levels.
- Ability to anticipate problems, prioritize tasks, and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Experience handling highly confidential information.
- Initiative to make fair, consistent decisions aligned with Target’s strategy and values.
- Ability to multitask, adapt to change, and work flexibly in a team environment.
