Sr HR Representative
National salary range: $70,000 – $115,000. California range: $70,304 – $115,000; Washington range: $80,169 – $115,000.
About the role
We’re looking for top-notch Sr. HR Representatives to provide outstanding customer service to our business leaders at distribution centers and regional offices across the country. You’ll serve as a strategic advisor, bringing challenge and perspective to business agendas while ensuring our workplace remains the best possible environment for our associates. This role requires high personal accountability, integrity, trust, and a strong customer focus.
Some of our distribution centers are free-standing, while others are on-site with customers. Regardless of location, we’re fully invested in our customers’ success, and our operations are transparent.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and recommendations to business managers on people-related issues impacting the organization.
- Serve as an advocate and counsel to hourly and exempt associates.
- Drive initiatives and activities to support site climate and culture.
- Manage and conduct internal investigations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with HR-related regulations, policies, and laws.
- Administer audit activities to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Train management on interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety, and sexual harassment.
- Provide feedback and coaching to managers, actively listen, and ask clarifying questions regarding associates.
- Manage staffing, succession planning, and associate programs and processes.
- Implement and manage training and development activities, monitoring their effectiveness.
- Administer compensation and benefits systems, processes, and employee communications.
- Administer action planning activities related to the annual EOS process.
- Ensure compliance with performance management systems.
- Enter and maintain data in the HRMS system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 4+ years of work experience, with at least 3 years in HR across major functional areas.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- Proven experience leading organizational change.
- Ability to build and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Experience partnering with senior management.
