Sr. HR Manager

About the role

The Senior HR Manager will oversee HR operations across multiple locations, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and compliance with all relevant regulations. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead as an example of CFP’s values: Customer Service, Absolute Integrity, We Are Family, Share the Success.
• Lead and manage HR functions across multiple locations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, and development.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Develop and implement strategic HR policies and procedures that support the company’s objectives and promote a positive work environment.
• Collaborate with senior management to identify and address strategic HR needs and challenges.
• Provide guidance and support to HR teams at each location, auditing to ensure consistency and best practice application.
• Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and make strategic, data-driven decisions.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in all locations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the HR team.
• Demonstrate HR subject matter expertise through HR certification.
• Perform other duties and projects assigned to meet CFP’s Mission and Purpose.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role; preferably in manufacturing.
• Proven track record of successfully leading HR operations.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) required.
• Ability to travel occasionally.
