Responsibilities

  • Manages recruitment and staffing activities, interviews, and evaluates candidates for select positions and maintains records of the same.
  • Maintains onboarding and new employee training plans.
  • Manages turnover with the operations team and works toward year over year improvement.
  • Reviews roles & responsibilities to ensure ongoing accuracy.
  • Oversees various advertisements as required.
  • Oversees exit interviews as required.
  • Aids in the development of new strategies and programs to attract candidates.
  • Works closely with hiring managers to provide assistance on critical needs, coordinate candidate searches, develop selection criteria, selection process, interviewing guides, etc.
  • Manages staffing needs along with workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Benefits

    • Administers time/attendance, salary plan, disability, FMLA, etc.
    • Serves as a resource during annual open enrollment period.
    • Consults and conducts educational training to help employees understand the benefit programs.

    Employee Relations

    • Provides guidance, advice, and direction for a variety of HR and employee relations, EEO, and Open-Door issues.
    • Leads investigations and resolution of ongoing employee problems, complaints.
    • Anticipates problems whenever possible and develops, recommends, and initiates appropriate steps for resolution.
    • Maintains an attitude and philosophy consistent with the company's standards.
    • Conducts employee education and communication on HR topics and business needs.

    Special Projects/Strategic Planning

    • Serves as a resource for annual EEO-1 filing and maintenance of organizational charts.
    • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
    • Effectively utilizes HR systems to obtain, store, and analyze pertinent data and information.
    • Oversees annual engagement survey and drives cultural improvement projects with the operations team.
    • Involves in strategic planning and project work within HR services and other departments.

    HR

    • Administers various human resources plans and procedures (including handbook updates) for all company personnel.
    • Manages performance management program, evaluations, disciplinations, etc., with people managers.
    • Completes annual compensation market review and makes recommendations on performance merit increase budgets.
    • Maintains and expands knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting human resources management.

    Miscellaneous

    • Completes verifications of employment, unemployment claims, attends hearings as needed.
    • Oversees and assists as necessary with various programs such as service awards, perfect attendance, employee councils, general employee recognition, etc.
    • Aids people managers with compensation questions/issues with their employees, administers compensation program as defined.
    • Reviews and establishes training needed for employees, people managers, supervisor training, employee development, etc.

    Qualifications

    • Excellent verbal, written, computer (MS Office, HRIS), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong leadership skills, ability to work with all levels of employees.
    • Self-motivated and self-directed with strong work ethic.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge and understanding of plans, policies, procedures, and familiarity of state and federal regulations.

    About the Role

    Join our HR Team as a Senior Business Partner. The Senior Business Partner provides overall human resource support to a location(s). Administration of benefits, payroll, staffing, recruitment, and general administration of human resource policies and practices. They will actively analyze and recommend changes to practices, policies, and procedures, and ensures consistent application of HR laws, regulations, and company policies. This person acts as immediate support to the Director of HR.

    Requirements

    • SHRM certification preferred.

    Benefits

    The salary range is $100,000 - $130,000 commensurate with experience.
