HR Business Partner
Scope
Serves as a hands-on and strategic HR partner to business leaders across assigned functions, driving people strategies that align with organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide proactive guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and people strategies that support business objectives.
- Lead and resolve complex employee relations matters including performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions ensuring consistency, fairness, and legal compliance.
- Ensure all HR activities are in compliance with state and federal employment laws and regulations; identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Drive performance management cycles, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and year-end calibrations; coach managers to deliver meaningful feedback and differentiate performance.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring, job leveling, and onboarding for assigned business units; contribute to workforce planning and succession discussions.
- Analyze people data and engagement survey results to identify trends and risks; work with leaders to develop their actionable solutions.
- Lead and support change management efforts for organizational restructures, leadership transitions, and culture initiatives.
- Develop and implement HR programs in the areas of retention, engagement, manager capability, and career development.
- Collaborate with HR team to deliver integrated HR solutions to the business.
- Develop and deliver clear, timely HR communications across the organization — including policy updates, program announcements, leadership messages, and employee-facing materials — ensuring consistency in tone and alignment with Brightway's culture.
Education And Experience
This position requires a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with 4–5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner or generalist capacity. Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters, supporting organizational change, and influencing leaders at multiple levels is required.

- Data-driven approach to problem solving; comfortable analyzing people metrics and presenting insights
- Skilled in coaching, influencing, and building credibility with leaders and employees at all levels
