You will be the heartbeat of the associate experience at the community level—supporting leaders, empowering teams, and ensuring every associate feels seen, supported, and set up for success.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for associates and leaders, offering guidance on HR policies, benefits, and workplace questions.
- Champion a positive culture
- Help foster an inclusive, engaging environment where associates feel valued and connected to Senior Star’s mission.
- Career development
- Coordinate interviews, prepare offer letters, ensure pre-employment requirements are completed, and create a smooth Day One experience.
- Drive consistency and compliance
- Maintain accurate records, support audits, and ensure all HR processes align with company standards and legal requirements.
- Be a steady voice in employee relations
- Provide fair, thoughtful guidance on workplace concerns while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Own the details that matter
- Manage HR systems (Dayforce, Relias), track training completion, and ensure every associate file is complete and audit-ready.
- Enhance the associate journey
- Support engagement initiatives, surveys, recognition programs, and culture-building efforts across the community.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations
- Strong organizational and communication skills - there is a strong administrative component to this role
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and sound judgment
- A natural ability to build relationships and navigate conversations with confidence
- Experience with HR systems (Dayforce or similar a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree or HR certification (preferred, not required)
