Sr HR Benefits & Leave Analyst - Remote
for section headings. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose.
We need to decide sections: About the role (overview), Responsibilities (essential duties), Requirements (required knowledge, skills, abilities + required education/experience), Qualifications (maybe preferred education/experience?), Skills (maybe separate?), Benefits (what we offer), Pay (salary range). Could combine some.
But instruction: Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we could have About the role (overview), Responsibilities (essential duties), Qualifications (combining required and preferred), Benefits, Pay.
We need to ensure we don't create sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present.
Let's extract content.
About the role: The overview paragraph: "The Senior HR Benefits & Leave Analyst designs, develops, implements, communicates, and administers employee benefit and leave programs across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, compliant, and employee-focused service delivery while overseeing the administration and continuous improvement of benefit and leave offerings. The analyst partners closely with Payroll, Legal, HR, managers, employees, and third-party vendors to resolve complex benefit and leave matters, ensure regulatory compliance, and support key organizational initiatives."
That's prose.
Responsibilities: The list under "Essential Duties:" each bullet.
We need to capture each bullet as
- . Let's list them:
- Designs, administers, and evaluates health, welfare, retirement, and ancillary benefit programs.
- Leads annual enrollment, including planning, system testing, vendor coordination, enrollment administration, communications, and issue resolution.
- Ensures accurate benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, leave hours, pay codes, and payroll deductions; audits data and coordinates corrections and reconciliations.

- Creates and presents clear communications that promote awareness and understanding of programs and offerings.
- Proactively identifies opportunities to improve benefit and leave programs, processes, and service delivery; supports change initiatives; and partners with vendors, HR, and business stakeholders to respond to inquiries, provide guidance, and resolve issues promptly.

That's many bullets.
Requirements/Knowledge: "Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:" list:

Also "Before You Apply: This role requires a Benefits & Leave SME who can confidently own complex benefits administration, leave management, accommodations, and compliance requirements. Applicants with HR focused backgrounds like Payroll, Employee Relations, Recruiting, HR business partner work, HR management, and HRIS administration will not be considered."
That is also a requirement (specific background). We'll include as bullet maybe.
Education/Experience: "Required Education and Experience:" list:
- Bachelor's degree, ideally in Human Resources, Business, or other related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years’ relevant work experience in benefits and leave administration, including health and welfare, retirement, disability, FMLA, and accommodation processes.
- Or, equivalent military experience.
"Preferred Education and Experience:" list:
- 8+ years of progressively responsible benefits and leave experience, including leadership of complex projects, programs, or vendor relationships.
- Self-insured experience.
- UKG Pro or comparable HRIS and benefit administration system experience.
- Professional certification such as PHR, SPHR, CEBS, or CLMS.
We could combine required and preferred into Qualifications section, maybe split into Required Qualifications and Preferred Qualifications but instruction says prefer few sections. Could have Qualifications section containing both required and preferred as sub-lists? But we need to use
- for any list. Could have nested lists? Probably okay to have separate
for required and preferred within same section, each preceded by a describing.
But we must not create heading with filler. So we can have
Qualifications
then a Required:
... then Preferred:
...
Similarly for Responsibilities we have list.
Benefits: "What We Offer You:" list items:
- A culture that values employees and celebrates, empowers, and inspires a diverse workforce
- Outstanding and affordable benefits package
- 3.5 weeks of PTO and 11 paid holidays
- 401(k) with up to 6% match; fully vested from day 1
- Remote opportunities with company-provided equipment
- Team-oriented, collaborative group of peers
- Career advancement opportunities
- Tuition Reimbursement
- Employee Assistance Program
- Inclusion Council and Employee Resource Groups
- Recharge Days and Volunteer Time Off
Also "This is a remote position." Could be included as bullet or prose.
Pay: Salary range details: "The starting base salary range for the Senior HR Benefits & Leave Analyst $87,500 to $109,350. The full salary range is $87,500 to $131,200. Actual salaries will vary by geographic location and are based on factors such as candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, competencies, and company tenure & equity. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance and individual performance."
We need to include that as prose under Pay section.
We must not include boilerplate like "Equal Opportunity Employer", "Know Your Rights", etc.
Also remove duplicated lines: maybe "What We Offer You:" appears only once.
Now produce HTML fragment.

Make sure no extra whitespace? It's fine.
Check we didn't miss any substantive info: The intro about company mission etc. Could be considered About the role? Actually that's more about company culture. Could be included in About the role or maybe separate section About the Company. But we only have headings list; we could include About the role as overview of role, but the company mission could be placed in About the role? Might be okay to include in About the role as prose before responsibilities. However the instruction: "use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)". So we can have About the role heading and include both company overview and role overview? Might be okay.
But we already used About the role for role overview. Could also include company mission there. Let's merge: About the role paragraph could include both company commitment and role overview. However we need to preserve all substantive information; the company mission statements are substantive. So we should include them.
Thus About the role paragraph: combine the initial paragraphs about USAble Life commitment, DEI, community involvement, recognition, etc., plus the role overview paragraph.
Let's craft:
At USAble Life, we’re committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our customers, our communities, and each other. We are a diverse team united by a shared drive to go the extra mile. Through our DEI initiatives, employees feel empowered to bring their unique talents, perspectives, and voices to our culture.
