About the Team
The Workday Success Plans (WSP) Team focuses on our customers and their post-launch journey. We build programs to help them drive business value from their Workday applications. The team delivers a variety of programs and services, ranging from feature demonstrations to full feature deployments. About the Role
As a Sr. Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Workday's product solutions. You will provide implementation expertise to our clients while understanding how to best configure and test Workday solutions to meet their business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver implementation expertise for Workday’s product solutions.
- Configure and test Workday solutions to meet client business requirements.
- Provide functional leadership in Workday HCM Reporting & Analytics, including Report Writer, Prism Analytics, Composite Reporting, Calculated Fields, Dashboards, Discovery Boards, and Worksheets.
- Lead multi-functional teams as a “virtual” team leader with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Influence, interact, and collaborate with senior management and technical resources both internally and externally.
- Perform effective product demonstrations as part of enablement programs.
- Distill complex concepts into understandable presentations for customers.
- Understand sophisticated technical process issues and facilitate decision-making.
Requirements
- 5+ years of HCM Reporting, Analytics, and Data warehousing experience for enterprise software applications.
- 3+ years of proven ability building and maintaining Workday HCM Reporting & Analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required.
- Experience implementing Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar software applications.
- Experience working with BI Tools (Tableau, QlikView, Cognos, Business Objects).
- Understanding of data modeling concepts with an ability to manipulate data using software tools and SQL.
- Workday Certification in at least one of the following: Workday Financials, Workday Reporting.
- Ability to gain a thorough understanding of Workday concepts as new features are released.
- Professional services experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.

Schedule
With Flex Work, we combine in-person time and remote work. You’ll spend at least half (50%) of your time each quarter in the office or in the field with customers, prospects, and partners, depending on the role. Pay
The annualized base salary ranges for this role are:
- Primary Location (USA, IL, Chicago): $122,800 USD - $184,200 USD
- Additional US Locations: $111,000 USD - $197,300 USD
As part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on factors including geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need.
