AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We are seeking a highly effective supply chain professional to manage AWS' GPU supply chain. In this role, the candidate will manage a semiconductor supply chain with multiple products in close collaboration with both internal and external cross functional teams. These qualifications are critical to help enable AWS's AIS team achieve continuity of supply and cost goals.

Key job responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of the AWS Infrastructure supply chain team in helping to define and deliver complex supply chain strategies
  • Design, develop and maintain scalable and reliable analytical tools, dashboards, and metrics that drive key decisions and resource prioritization
  • Understand the technical requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal technical teams to guide the direction of activities that will impact our supply chain
  • Produce written recommendations and insights for key stakeholders to help shape solution design
  • Handle multiple projects at once, deal with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities
  • Fully responsible to audit forecast and exchange forecast with the supplier and ensure the supplier delivers the supply against forecast
  • Dive deep on demand data using the limited data system we have currently
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand weekly demand signal changes and impacts on subcomponents level
  • Think through the mitigation plan if facing any supply issue and proactively communicate the supply impact to stakeholders
  • Our environment is fast-paced and requires someone who is hard-working, meticulous, who gets things done at an effective pace, gets results, and is comfortable working with tight deadlines and changing priorities

Basic qualifications

  • 5+ years of related industry experience
  • 5+ years of data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in program, project or product management, or leading product implementation

Preferred qualifications

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies
  • Experience in negotiations with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction
  • Experience in procurement practices working with engineering, supply chain and Tier 1 OEM partners

Pay

USA, WA, Seattle - 147,900.00 - 200,100.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
