Sr. Global Brand Planner, XCM

About the role

The Sr. Global Brand Planner, XCM, leads the strategic direction for some of Amazon's most high-profile and far-reaching brands and creative campaigns, both domestically and internationally. This role involves insight development through customer research, brief writing, communications planning, creative collaboration, and post-campaign learning. It requires navigating ambiguity and making trade-offs between short- and long-term brand objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develops campaigns across channels, particularly in social media.
• Presents strategic recommendations to senior leaders and educates cross-functional partners on strategic questions.
• Collaborates closely with teammates and partners across Integrated Campaign Management, Creative, Media, and Insights, as well as with brand and business stakeholders in other parts of Amazon, agencies, and external companies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
• Experience communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience in marketing or marketing research.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for or with Creative Agencies.
• Experience in ad quality.
• Experience developing successful marketing or communications campaigns.
