Position Summary
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help build, enhance, and support cloud-based applications and data solutions across the front end, back end, and database layers.
Responsibilities
- Build, test, maintain, and enhance full stack applications and data solutions across the front end, back end, and database layers.
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs to support integration between applications, data platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines to support batch and near-real-time data processing, and implement data transformation workflows that are performant and maintainable.
- Develop and support data models, transformations, and workflows in Snowflake to enable scalable and efficient data processing.
- Use Apache Airflow to orchestrate, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot data pipelines and automated workflows.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to deploy, support, and improve solutions in AWS.
- Implement application and data pipeline features that integrate with relational databases and AWS services such as S3 and related cloud resources.
- Partners with Cloud Engineering, DevSecOps, and application teams to implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake objects and deployments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application, pipeline, and integration issues in development and production environments, and document root cause and resolution steps.
- Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver application and data solutions that support business and user needs.
Qualifications
- US citizen or Authorized to Work and lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years.
- Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.
- Requires a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or a Master’s degree with at least six (6) years of experience. Four (4) years of specialized experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience building full stack applications using modern development frameworks, relational databases, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with SQL and Python for application development, data processing, and integration tasks.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration workflows.
- Experience with Snowflake for data modeling, transformation, and query optimization.
- Experience using Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration, scheduling, and monitoring.
- Experience supporting cloud-based applications and data solutions in AWS, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with analytics, application, and platform teams in an Agile environment.
- Prior experience with Center for Medicare Medicaid Services or other government agencies is a plus.
