Job Summary

As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing scalable and responsive web applications that enhance the protection of data centers and cloud stacks against attacks.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development, with a focus on UI using React, TypeScript, and other modern JavaScript frameworks. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing comprehensive full-stack applications, enhancing the full-stack architecture of web applications, and collaborating with other development teams to improve the usability of cross-services APIs.

Responsibilities

Innovate and disrupt by developing products that revolutionize network segmentation, enhancing the protection of data centers and cloud stacks against attacks.
Design, develop, and test comprehensive full-stack applications using the latest native browser APIs, web servers, and frontend frameworks.
Enhance the full-stack architecture of web applications, including deployment, configuration, build systems, component libraries, style guides, and responsiveness.
Evaluate and adopt open-source solutions to optimize user interaction workflows across UI applications, ensuring quality and consistency.
Collaborate with UI experts to make decisions around user experience and visual design.
Work with other development teams to improve the usability of cross-services APIs.
Implement industry best practices for linting, static typing, unit testing, and functional/integration testing to build robust and resilient products.
Partner with Product Management to review, refine, and set product goals that exceed customer expectations.
Develop a deep understanding of the fundamental problems our customers need to solve through interaction with stakeholders and peers.

Requirements

Experience: 5+ years of experience in full-stack/UI development.
Front-end Skills: Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3; Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and other JavaScript frameworks.
Back-end Skills: Experience with modern backend technologies and RESTful API design.
(Nice to have): Experience developing microservices or working with service-oriented architectures.
Version Control: Experience with version control tools, particularly Git.
Bonus Points: Masters in Computer Science or equivalent degree; Experience with modern front-end build pipelines; Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud); Basic knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualifications

Experience with APIs for distributed systems is highly valued.
