Sr. Full Stack Engineer (70% backend, 30% front-end)

Key Responsibilities

• Participates in, designs, and develops scalable and resilient systems using Java to continuously improve product teams' software solutions.
• Executes software solutions, designs, develops, and troubleshoots technical issues.
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that synchronize with relevant systems.
• Produces or contributes to architecture and design artifacts for applications while ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.
• Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reports from large, diverse data sets to drive continuous improvements in software applications and systems.
• Identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new and emerging technologies.
• Participates in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.
• Adds to the team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience with React, Java/J2EE, and AWS.
• Proficient in coding in Java languages.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
• Hands-on experience in private and public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, resilience, and security.
• Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, AI, ML, mobile, etc.).
