About the Role
The Senior Analyst reports to the Senior Director of Finance and serves as a key finance business partner supporting financial operations. This role partners closely with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, and Plant Leadership to provide financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and analytical support that drives operational performance and informed decision-making.
The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and hands-on, with strong manufacturing finance experience and the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights. This position may be based remotely with the ability to travel up to 25% as business needs require.
Responsibilities
- Measure and analyze MUV (Material Usage Variance) and labor utilization across multiple sites
- Evaluate and report on WIP (Work in Progress) usage and variances
- Set and measure savings targets with Plant Directors
- Prepare monthly financial reports and presentations
- Develop and maintain operational KPIs
- Support the annual budget and forecasting processes
- Provide actionable analysis related to plant performance, labor productivity, material costs, inventory management, capital expenditures, and manufacturing operations
- Improve financial visibility and identify opportunities to enhance performance
- Support execution of key operational and strategic initiatives
- Partner with the Senior Director of Finance to standardize management reporting and strengthen financial processes
- Ad hoc reporting requirements, as necessary
Qualifications
- Progressive experience (5+ years) in Financial Planning & Analysis (or similar) background, preferably in a global industrial manufacturing environment and in positions with increasing responsibility
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
- Experience in a private equity environment is a plus
- Engaging leader with strong analytical, financial, and systems skills
- Self-starter with the ability to anticipate stakeholder needs and elevate existing reporting/analysis
Limited travel required (25%).
