Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst

Key Responsibilities And Duties

  • Analyzes monthly financial results through financial models to identify drivers and explain key variances.
  • Maintains accuracy of financial statements by monitoring general ledger journal entries during the closing process.
  • Supports departmental financial analysis by reviewing ad hoc reports that compare departmental financial results against budgets and forecasts.
  • Provides financial insights to senior management through executive-level presentations and reports.
  • Assists junior Financial Analysts with complex financial issues requiring advanced knowledge and experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years of prior experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or public accounting.
  • Experience supporting external audits and working with auditors.
  • Solid understanding of internal controls and SOX requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience preparing executive-level presentations (PowerPoint or similar).
  • Previous experience with an enterprise reporting tool - Workiva is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a regulated environment.
