About the role
The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) is a key member of the Corporate Development (M&A) team and will support all development and growth efforts. The position involves working on acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures, collaborating with various departments, and providing detailed analysis and support.
Responsibilities
- Build complex Excel valuation models for potential acquisitions and divestitures
- Evaluate deals through discounted cash flow analyses and metrics such as IRR, EBITDA multiples, etc.
- Create pro forma income and cash flow statements for potential joint ventures
- Manage due diligence process including leading physical site visits, coordinating with sellers, collecting data, and ensuring that all areas of the diligence process undergo appropriate review
- Create presentations and proposals for potential sellers, joint venture partners, senior management, board of directors, etc.
- Work closely with Transaction Directors and legal teams in the negotiation and drafting of definitive agreements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field from a top undergraduate program
- 2-4 years of transaction-oriented analytical experience; investment banking, consulting, transaction advisory, or corporate development experience preferred
- Must have significant direct transaction experience
- Strong finance, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced deal environment
- Self-starter and problem solver with ability to think and work independently
- Strong communicator and relationship builder with the various stakeholders in a given transaction

Pay
The Salary Range for the role is $70,000.00 - $110,000.00/year. If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
Schedule
This position is primarily remote but would have the option to work out of our North Bethesda, MD office along with the department’s Vice President and two Transaction Directors.
