About the role
The Sr. Financial Analyst, Lowes, is part of the Retail Tools & Outdoor team and works remotely or hybrid. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering financial analysis, reporting, forecasting support, and decision support to drive growth and profitability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional partners to provide insights into business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support execution of commercial and financial objectives.
- Serving as a finance business partner for the Lowes commercial account team.
- Supporting monthly financial close processes for the Lowes commercial business, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results and variances.
- Developing, analyzing, and reporting financial results, quarterly forecasts, and annual operating plan inputs to support business planning and decision-making.
- Overseeing controls for trade spending processes including proactive monitoring of forecasted accruals and planned promotional spending.
- Providing actionable insights on sales performance, margin trends, and profitability drivers.
- Partnering with sales and operations teams to evaluate promotional activities, pricing strategies, and new business opportunities.
- Maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and supporting interactions with Lowes counterparts, as needed.
- Performing ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as necessary.
Responsibilities
As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will:
- Be responsible for delivering financial analysis, reporting, forecasting support, and decision support to help drive growth and profitability.

Requirements
You should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis, preferably within a Corporate Finance, FP&A, or Commercial Finance environment.
- A strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, effective oral and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to develop data-driven recommendations.
- Demonstrated financial systems acumen, with the ability to use financial tools and systems to support accurate reporting, analysis, and informed decision-making.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; experience with Power BI, Hyperion HFM, SAP, or equivalent systems is preferred.
Qualifications
You should have:

Pay
The salary range for this position is $77,600.00 - $124,900.00.
