Job Responsibilities
- Provides financial planning and analyses.
- Maintains actual results of financial data against plans, forecasts and budgets.
- Gathers, organizes and documents relevant financial information.
- Determines trends and explains financial results.
- Prepares detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of management.
- Consolidates operating and financial projections for the development of short-term and long-term business plans.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or associated field and 4-6 equivalent experience in accounting.
- Minimum 5+ years general accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerBI; preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Operate standard office equipment preferred.
- Experience with integrated financial/manufacturing software packages, SAP preferred.
- Ability to manage departmental projects/programs to meet BGM needs.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Good working knowledge of a standard cost system, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Detail oriented and self-motivated.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
