Leo is Amazon’s long-term initiative to design, launch, and maintain a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. About the Role
Amazon Leo seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support Business Development and Product Management across Mobility applications. Amazon Leo Mobility solutions support airlines, business aviation owners, automotive OEMs, shipping and energy companies and many more use cases.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain long range financial models to project and evaluate business performance against key goals and identify key call outs and drivers to senior management
- Perform strategic financial analysis of key go-to-market strategies, including partnership evaluation, segment prioritization, and pricing strategy
- Build and enhance P&L models for new and existing businesses, develop business insights and KPI dashboards, and lead ad hoc analyses
- Create and implement revenue and cost models to be incorporated into business reviews
- Lead automation efforts of critical processes
- Education business partners on financial and operational trade-offs, exercising sound judgement in ambiguous situations with limited or challenging data
- Aid in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
Requirements
- 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in business economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, information technology or equivalent
Qualifications
- Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
- MBA, or CFA
- Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
Pay
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
