Sr Financial Analyst - FT - Days - Financial Analysis and Planning @ MV

About the role

Provides technical advice, project management and written deliverables to facilitate achievement of the hospital's budgetary and operational objectives. Acts as a liaison between Finance and department managers for financial performance and budget variance reports. Works with the management team to create annual capital and operating budgets, bi-weekly productivity monitoring, and monthly variance analysis. Performs special projects and duties as assigned, including new departments or programs system setup, and problem solving around system and budget variances.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical advice, project management and written deliverables to facilitate achievement of the hospital's budgetary and operational objectives.
• Acts as a liaison between Finance and department managers for financial performance and budget variance reports.
• Works with the management team to create annual capital and operating budgets, bi-weekly productivity monitoring, and monthly variance analysis.
• Performs special projects and duties as assigned, including new departments or programs system setup, and problem solving around system and budget variances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Management or related field.
• Two (2) years’ experience in an analyst or similar position in healthcare, preferably in an acute hospital setting having related responsibilities and duties.
• Knowledge and use of AI in financial analytics preferred.
• Experience with VIBE coding preferred.
• Solid understanding of decision support systems, cost accounting principles and financial systems.
• Experience with decision support system, ie TSI, EPSI, Meditech, McKesson HPM or similar preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills a must.
• SQL database experience a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

$57.75 - $86.62 USD Hour
