Sr. Financial Analyst, Fixed Assets

Responsibilities

• Review ledger entries to ensure financial reporting complies with US GAAP and company policies.
• Create and review balance‑sheet reconciliations and accommodate internal and external audit requests.
• Manage, model, and forecast depreciation and capital expenditures (Capex) periodically.
• Work with Tax, Control, and Planning teams to provide support and accurate, timely forecasting.
• Collaborate with various groups to manage weekly fixed‑asset flows and provide accurate, timely bonus depreciation numbers.
• Work daily with accounting teams in Mexico to drive Mexico fixed‑asset and forecasting processes.
• Travel to Mexico at least every six months to meet with teams in person.
• Supervise Financial Analysts and Associate Financial Analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (or 2 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree).
• Minimum 5 years of US and Mexico tax experience in a multinational retail setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including reporting.
• Ability to ensure financial reporting complies with US GAAP and company policies.
• Experience with internal and external audit processes.
• Ability to manage, model, and forecast depreciation and Capex.
• Fluency in Spanish.
• Availability to travel to company offices in Mexico at least every six months.
