Sr. Financial Analyst

Location: Des Peres, MO • Type: Contract

About the role

You will be part of the finance team, supporting strategic decision-making through comprehensive analysis and reporting. This role involves collaborating with various business units to enhance financial processes, identify risks, and support strategic initiatives. It is a contract position offering a 6-month contract duration.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital planning, forecasting, and investment analysis processes.
• Develop and maintain financial models supporting capital allocation and long-range planning.
• Deliver recurring and ad hoc reports on capital expenditures and key financial metrics.
• Analyze balance sheet trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
• Support the Total Cost of Labor (TCOL) planning process, including forecasting and scenario modeling.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes and analytical capabilities.
• Partner with the FP&A team to prepare executive-level presentations and communicate financial insights.
• Manage and improve the rate card update process, including data analysis and system updates.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Finance or Analytics, or 10+ years with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and statistical analysis.
• Proficiency with financial reporting tools and data analysis software.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to explain financial analysis clearly and persuasively.

Desired Skills

• Experience working within a corporate FP&A environment.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and financial modeling software.
• Exposure to strategic planning and capital investment analysis.
• Prior experience in operational support or systems analysis.
