Sr. Financial Analyst

About the role

I'm partnering with a global manufacturing company to find a finance professional ready to step into a high-impact role supporting two key plant locations. If you have a few years of finance experience and want a seat at the table with operations leadership, this is a strong next step.

This is not a back-office reporting role. You'll be in the business, partnering with plant leaders, owning key financial processes, and helping drive real results across cost, cash, inventory, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership to improve cost, cash, and margin performance
• Lead reporting on key plant metrics including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and cash
• Analyze manufacturing cost structure, inventory, and value stream performance
• Drive excess and obsolete inventory analysis and process improvement
• Perform variance analysis across material, conversion, productivity, volume, and mix
• Support month-end close, journal entries, and reporting packages
• Help lead cross-functional operational improvement projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, operational finance
• Experience with cost accounting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across functions
• Percent of completion revenue recognition experience is a plus
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI is a plus
