Sr. Financial Analyst - AI and Data Analytics
Position Summary
This position reports to Director of Finance and is responsible for supporting financial forecasting and planning for Purpose Financial and its family of brands. We work in a demanding environment; the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines is required. The successful candidate will be initiative-taking and thrive in a team-focused, highly communicative environment. This position will support our business partners across the organization by identifying data-analytics based recommendations to drive bottom-line profitability and collaboration with peer analysts to drive improvement of KPI-based financial models. Collaboration with Credit Risk, Analytics, BI, & ETL/Teams is expected to drive enterprise-wide progress. Additional responsibilities are likely to include ownership of components of the Annual Plan, Reforecast, & Long-Term Planning processes as well as cash flow forecasting.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead development of FP&A datasets as well as distribution and communication performance tracking and KPI dashboards supporting business improvement and financial forecast processes
- Utilize AI-driven forecasting tools to improve the speed and precision of financial projections
- Responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing financial forecast models within OneStream, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and alignment with enterprise planning standards across Purpose Financial's family of brands
- Partner with Data Science and Data Engineering teams to integrate machine learning outputs into financial models and planning workflows
- Identify opportunities to automate manual financial processes through AI and intelligent automation solutions
- Monitor and validate AI-generated financial insights to ensure accuracy, auditability, and alignment with business objectives
- Ad-hoc requests, what-if analyses, and other duties as assigned.

The following AI-related competencies are required to succeed in this role:
- Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics tools to accelerate financial analysis, summarize data trends, and generate narrative reporting
- Ability to leverage AI/ML model outputs within financial models — interpreting predictions, confidence intervals, and anomaly detection results to inform planning decisions
- Experience using AI to streamline and automate recurring processes such as variance analysis, data reconciliation, report generation, and KPI tracking
- Proficiency in prompt engineering; the ability to craft effective queries and instructions to extract accurate, relevant insights from AI tools in a finance context
Education Required
- Minimum BS Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other relevant degree
- Relevant master’s degrees and MBA preferred
Experience Required
- 6+ years of related experience
- Strong initiative in a team-focused environment

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills

- Comfortable working in a dynamic, high volume, fast-paced environment
- Understanding and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry/business and products
- Knowledge of data querying, cleaning, & development as well as dashboarding and use of Tableau (or similar tool) for analytics, reporting, & communication
- Ability to develop and foster mutually beneficial business relationships with a customer-service focus
- Advanced critical thinking, problem solving, and sound judgment to escalate issues to manager
- Proficient use of OneStream for financial planning, forecasting, and reporting is strongly desired
- Prior experience building or maintaining OneStream models and workflows is considered a significant advantage
