Sr. Finance Transformation Manager (Remote)

About the role

The Finance Transformation team builds scalable, global finance processes by leveraging technology to enable the Finance & Accounting (F&A) team to support CrowdStrike’s rapid growth.

Responsibilities

  • Define the F&A AI operating model, charter, and governance forums.
  • Maintain F&A’s AI transformation roadmap including AI project intake, prioritization, and implementation.
  • Evaluate new AI platforms, embedded ERP / Enterprise systems AI features, and specialist Finance AI tools.
  • Maintain a current view of the Finance AI tooling landscape and recommend investment.
  • Partner with Finance & Accounting Process Leads (Quote-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Source-to-Pay, FP&A, Specialized Finance) to surface and shape high-value AI opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain prioritized portfolio of business use cases including expected ROI, feasibility, risk scoring, and change impact.
  • Track benefits realization post-deployment and refine the pipeline based on outcomes.
  • Manage AI solution proof of concept delivery through partnership with IT, Data, Security, and Vendors.
  • Ensure AI solutions integrate cleanly with other finance systems and manage transition activities needed to scale successful pilots into Production.
  • Evaluate build-vs.-buy decisions and lead vendor selection where applicable.
  • Design and deliver role-based learning paths for the Finance & Accounting function – from analyst to Controller – covering prompt craft, tool fluency, and judgment in AI-assisted work.
  • Build and run a Finance & Accounting AI Champions network to drive grassroots adoption and feedback.
  • Lead change management and adoption campaigns; measure capability uplift and behavioral adoption.
  • Establish and Own F&A Governance Framework.
  • Establish Finance-specific AI guidelines aligned to enterprise AI policy, covering data handling, model risk, SOX implications, auditability, and human-in-the-loop requirements.
  • Educate the function on acceptable use, escalation paths, and documentation expectations.
  • Monitor compliance and partner with Information Security, Vendor Risk Legal, and Internal Audit on assurance activities.
  • Define and report adoption, productivity, quality, and value-realized KPIs.
  • Provide Executive-ready updates on Finance & Accounting AI portfolio, outcomes, and emerging risks.

Requirements

  • 12+ years combined experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • Transformation, with at least 3+ years delivering AI, automation, or advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience standing up and/or scaling AI transformation programs.
  • Strong working knowledge of core Finance and Accounting processes (Close, Consolidation, FP&A, Controls Frameworks).
  • Proven track record influencing senior stakeholders (Sr. Director / VP / CFO-level).
  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, IS or related discipline; MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Prior Enterprise Performance, Strategic, and/or Operations consulting experience.
  • Experience within a publicly traded multinational company, preferably high-growth.
  • Prior finance system implementation experience and familiarity with their embedded AI capability roadmaps.
  • Hands-on experience building with enterprise AI tools (Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Snowflake Cortex, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of predictive analytics and machine learning algorithms.
  • Change management certifications (PMI, Prosci, etc.).

Pay

Base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $130,000 - $200,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
