About the role
We’re ready to take this game to the next level and are looking for a forward-thinking leader to drive the evolution of our finance systems, AI-enabled automation, reporting and analytics landscape. As Sr Manager, Finance Systems & Technology Optimization Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the finance technology roadmap, advancing data-driven decision-making, and identifying opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls, and unlock business value.
Responsibilities
- Lead the optimization, enhancement, and ongoing support of finance systems, reporting, and analytics solutions to improve business performance and decision-making.
- Partner with Finance, Technology, and third-party vendors to design, build, test, and implement system enhancements and new capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and system upgrades by understanding business needs and operational challenges.
- Lead business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, process mapping, functional documentation, and solution design.
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and production support activities to ensure system effectiveness and stability.
- Manage finance systems projects and enhancement initiatives, including planning, prioritization, resource coordination, timelines, and risk management.
- Drive data integrity, governance, master data management, and security controls across finance systems and reporting solutions.
- Develop and deliver reporting, dashboards, and project status updates for finance leadership, highlighting performance metrics, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, and control stakeholders to ensure systems and processes meet governance and internal control requirements.
- Coach and mentor team members and business users, fostering self-service reporting capabilities, system adoption, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) or other relevant certification preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5+ years of experience leading finance systems implementations, transformation initiatives, and reporting/analytics solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, process documentation, and system configuration.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects, stakeholders, vendors, and continuous improvement initiatives within finance environments.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of finance processes, ERP systems, reporting and analytics solutions, AI automation and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Azure Data Lake, SharePoint and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and presentation skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching and change management skills, with the resilience, adaptability, and sound judgment to navigate ambiguity, manage complex priorities and tight deadlines, and successfully deliver high-impact initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on quality, customer service, and results.
