Sr. Finance Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Client Finance Manager to provide financial leadership, operational partnership, and team oversight within a complex client finance environment. This role is ideal for a finance professional who combines strong accounting and financial management expertise with exceptional leadership and client-facing skills. As a strategic partner to operations and executive leadership, the Senior Client Finance Manager will oversee financial reporting, forecasting, internal controls, process improvement initiatives, and team development while ensuring the highest levels of service and financial integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of finance and accounting professionals, including Finance Managers, Senior Accountants, and Accountants.
• Serve as a strategic financial partner to operational leaders and key client stakeholders.
• Review and approve financial reports, account reconciliations, forecasts, and other critical deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and established financial policies.
• Monitor financial performance metrics and identify risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, annual operating plans (AOP), and variance analysis.
• Lead onboarding of new business scope and ensure successful transition into ongoing operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, scalability, and service quality.
• Support pricing initiatives, business growth opportunities, and financial analysis for new scope engagements.
• Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance management to finance team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Experience managing and mentoring accounting and finance teams.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with executive leadership, operations teams, and client stakeholders.
• Knowledge of internal controls, audit compliance, and financial governance practices.
• Proven success driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, CMA, MBA, or other advanced finance credential preferred.
• Experience supporting large, multi-entity, client-facing, outsourced accounting, property management, shared services, or professional services environments.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems experience.
