Sr Field Trainer

About the role

TelCom Construction is seeking a Field Training position for someone who can share their expertise and lead the training function in a growing industry.

Responsibilities

• Effectively train new and existing employees to industry and Company standards in operating diesel and gasoline powered equipment, hand and small tools, locating utilities, installing cabling, flagging, property restoration, and conducting walk-throughs.
• Safeguard operations by adhering to safety processes and procedures.
• Assist managers in developing employee development plans and maintaining training records.
• Communicate effectively in both classroom and field settings, giving constructive feedback.
• Perform light to moderate lifting and work in various weather conditions and environments.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Previous utility construction field experience with a focus on crew leadership.
• Previous telecommunications construction field experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive working environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Google applications.
• Valid Class A CDL drivers license with a good driving record.
• Pass a DOT physical exam for a valid medical card.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with individuals at all levels within the organization.
• Physical abilities to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, twist, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in adverse weather conditions.

Pay

The wage range for Sr Field Trainer is $70,000.00 - $85,000.00.

Schedule

Regional travel is required.
