About the role

As a Sr. Field Service Technician, you will visit customers in an assigned geography to diagnose and repair moderate to highly complex Coca-Cola beverage equipment, including fountain beverage dispensers, coolers, vendors, payment systems, and ancillary equipment. Service orders are generally scheduled through a dispatcher but may also be technician-generated proactively. You will be responsible for transportation, installation, removal, and repair of equipment under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose multiple types of complex fountain machine equipment (e.g., B.E.S.T., Freestyle Series, ABS, Remote Refrigeration, Water Filtration, Hot Beverage, Juice Machine) and other beverage equipment to determine work, parts, and materials needed and make required repairs.
• Move or remove equipment as required.
• Travel to and from customer locations in assigned area.
• Interact effectively and appropriately with customers, management, and associates.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work area upon completion of service calls.
• Document travel, labor, and materials (parts and supplies) use for each activity via handheld device.
• Correctly check in and out equipment and materials (parts and supplies).
• Maintain accurate parts inventory ($30–$35K estimated value).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle.
• Attend meetings as assigned.
• Assist with special projects and events as assigned.
• Assist other associates as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or GED) required.
• CFC Refrigeration Certification upon hire preferred.
• 2–4 years' experience in diagnosis and repair of consumer or commercial appliances required.
• 1–2 years beverage service technician (EFC, fountain install, bottle/can reactive) experience preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP CONA, Microsoft Outlook, and PDF reader on an iPhone and/or iPad type device.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets Swire’s vehicle policy requirements.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as assigned.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to complete B.E.S.T., Freestyle Series, ABS, Remote Refrigeration, Water Filtration, Hot Beverage Juice Machine, and Fundamental Skills certifications within the first year.
• Ability to complete equipment manufacturing and company training within 180 days of hire.
