Sr Field Service Technician
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of Honeywell building automation systems and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues on-site to minimize downtime and maximize system performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to provide technical support and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions based on field experience.

About the Role
As a Sr Field Service Technician for Honeywell Technologies, you will play a critical role in delivering expert technical service and support to our customers in all areas of the business including HVAC Controls, Security and Fire Alarm systems. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex building automation systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. You will report directly to our Senior Field Service Supervisor. Travel is required daily, overnight stays may be required, mostly in MN and surrounding states. You will follow a Monday through Friday schedule based on your customer needs (7AM-3:30PM or 8AM-4:30PM).
Requirements
- Experience in field service or Technical Support roles related to Computer Networking, Building Automation, HVAC, Security or Fire Alarm Systems
- Knowledge of HVAC, Computer Systems, and Electrical troubleshooting techniques
- Knowledge and ability to learn diagnostic tools and software used in Building Automation Systems, Computer Networks, Facilities Maintenance and Repair
- Experience working with Honeywell building automation products and software is highly desirable
- Willing to work independently and travel to customer sites (requiring overnight stay occasionally)
- Willing to work on a rotating emergency on-call shift which includes nights and weekends
Skills
You must have:
- Experience in field service or Technical Support roles related to Computer Networking, Building Automation, HVAC, Security or Fire Alarm Systems
- Knowledge of HVAC, Computer Systems, and Electrical troubleshooting techniques
- Knowledge and ability to learn diagnostic tools and software used in Building Automation Systems, Computer Networks, Facilities Maintenance and Repair
- Experience working with Honeywell building automation products and software is highly desirable
- Willingness to learn to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Willingness to work independently and travel to customer sites (requiring overnight stay occasionally)
- Willingness to work on a rotating emergency on-call shift which includes nights and weekends

Pay
The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $75,000 annually.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 7AM-3:30PM or 8AM-4:30PM based on customer needs.
