  • Communicate project status, risks, issues, and recommendations clearly to higher-level internal and external stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
  • Coach, guide, and provide technical support to lower-level professionals and other team members within the facilities function.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional project teams, including delegating tasks and reviewing the work products of others when managing projects.
  • Ensure that all facilities projects and maintenance activities comply with applicable regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Support ongoing equipment maintenance strategies within manufacturing facilities to maximize uptime and extend asset life.

Requirements

  • University degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with a university degree, or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree.

  • Experience preparing bid documents and contracts for construction and facility acquisition projects.
  • Strong skills in estimating design and project costs, including equipment, installation, labor, materials, and preparation.
  • Experience inspecting construction and installation work to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Capability to work independently with limited supervision and determine appropriate approaches to complex technical problems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide in-depth analysis and recommendations for process and system improvements.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with higher-level internal and external customers and vendors.
