Sr. Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientist (TS/SCI)

About the role

Culmen International is hiring a Senior Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientist to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in St. Louis, MO. The role involves enhancing product and asset management of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) products for intelligence producers in NGA and the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients to understand and address questions and issues involving their datasets.
• Determine the best method and approach to create data-driven solutions within program guidelines.
• Lead and assist in the development of automated processes and data science solutions.
• Automate workflows and conduct analysis using available tools.
• Identify patterns to help solve complex problems facing the DoD and Intelligence Community (IC).
• Work with large structured/unstructured data in a modeling and analytical environment.
• Define and create streamline processes for evaluating unique datasets.
• Translate road map features into components/tasks, estimate timelines, identify resources, suggest solutions, and recognize possible risks.
• Use exploratory data analysis techniques to identify meaningful relationships, patterns, or trends from complex data.
• Combine applied mathematics, programming skills, analytical techniques, and data to provide impactful insights for decision makers.
• Research and implement optimization models, strategies, and methods to inform data management activities and analysis.
• Use big data analytic tools to deliver impactful insights and assessments.
• Conduct peer reviews to improve quality of workflows, procedures, and methodologies.
• Build high-performing teams; mentor team members, providing development opportunities to increase their technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Possess a Master's degree in Data Science or a related technical field.
• Experience developing and working with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML).
• Advanced programming techniques, using one or more of the following: HTML 5/Javascript, ArcObjects, Python, Model Builder, Oracle, SQL, GIScience, GeospatiavAnalysis, Statistics, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, Arc SDE, ArcIMS.
• Experience building and maintaining databases of GEOINT, SIGINT, or OSINT data related to the area of interest.
• Data Visualization Experience, including Matrix Analytics, Network Analytics, and Graphing Data.

Qualifications

• Experience using NET, Python, C++, and/or JAVA programming for web interface development and geodatabase development.
