About the role

Jacobs is a global leader in infrastructure development, dedicated to creating sustainable solutions for thriving cities, resilient environments, and mission-critical outcomes. This position is available at any location in the United States, with a preference for candidates located near a Jacobs U.S. office. The role is a client-facing position focusing on comprehensive campus and building signage programs for data center performance units, both nationally and globally.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Jacobs, as well as client-side stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform design decisions and enhance design solutions
  • Oversee project lifecycle from ideation through implementation, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget
  • Present design concepts and progress updates to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and improve designs
  • Work independently and lead small teams
  • Travel to project sites in the US as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience in wayfinding and signage programs for complex environments
  • Full knowledge of ADA and building codes as it relates to signage
  • Working knowledge of sign fabrication methods and materials

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • At least 15+ years' experience as an Experiential Graphic Designer
  • PC platform experience
  • Working knowledge of and experience with current BIM/REVIT, Adobe CC (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Bluebeam, ProjectWise, SharePoint, Google Docs, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of scopes of work, developing budgets, and reviewing schedules
  • Ability to work well across multiple teams and lead small teams
  • Experience with designing advanced facilities (Data Centers, Life Science or other Industrial Facilities that also include office environments)

At Jacobs, we offer competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $105,700.00 to $145,300.00, depending on work location and additional factors.
